Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Manager to lead our software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the research and development of innovative software solutions that align with our company’s strategic goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, leadership skills, and project management experience to drive our software projects from concept to completion.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the R&D team in the development of new products, processes, and technologies.
  • Develop and implement R&D strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of R&D projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, corporate IT and sales, to integrate R&D efforts with business objectives.
  • Manage the R&D budget, resources, and equipment to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to drive innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory medical standards and internal policies in all R&D activities.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Competencies

  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
  • Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and cloud technologies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and think strategically.
  • Knowledge of medical regulatory requirements and industry standards is a plus
