Inside Vesuvius Flow Control, the Robotic team focuses its activity on engineering and development of mechatronic solutions for the continuous casting process.What does your role involve?

  • Manage customer projects proper execution as per contractual agreements to ensure quality, performance, costs, and schedule compliance.
  • Lead, from beginning to end, high technology automatic systems integration projects through transversal management across different functions working in the project team. Plan and align the works required to deliver according to the set milestones.
  • Maintain continuous assessment of the risks along the progress of the project to anticipate necessary actions to overcome or mitigate potential obstacles.
  • Proactively work to tackle the main roadblocks, resolve problems, and escalate to relevant stakeholders when required.
  • Set up commissioning plan of the system on customer site in close collaboration with the field service manager to obtain the project final acceptance in due time.
  • Participates and supports the elaboration of firm new project quotation specification and budget.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Experience of 3 to 5 years in Project Management in the field of systems integration engineering projects or similar
  • Good technical ability to cover technological and process application subjects (Robotics, mechanics, automation, mechatronics).
  • Risk assessment, FMEA and problem-solving methodology.
  • Very good command of Prince2, PMP or equivalent project management methods is a plus
  • Leadership, able to plan and align project team work to drive results.
  • Proficient English level is mandatory
  • Available to travel worldwide 15% of the time when needed
