JOB PURPOSE

Within the Raw Materials Management team, the role will ensure the quality, performance and sustainability of the RTW Raw Materials, in order for the final product to meet the customer needs and the industry standards.

The role requires frequent trips to Prato area (Tuscany). 

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Keep contact with testing laboratories (tissue analysis laboratory) and conduct analysis of the results
-Contact and actions for individual fabric items in order to achieve company standards
-Data analysis and reporting in company trackers
-Verification of matched patterns and related realization risks from the raw materials perspective
-Fabric quality control
-Finishing cycle definition based on fabric application
-Analysis of dyeing and finishing cycles and dyes

PERSONAL PROFILE
-BSc/MSc in Materials/Textiles
-Knowledge of textile fibers, textile chemistry and spinning methods;
-Knowledge of fabric structure;
-Experience with textile dyeing and finishing;
-Pattern-making and garment construction knowledge;
-Knowledge of English language.
-Availability to travel
