JOB PURPOSE
Assist the effective and efficient management of Trims Raw Materials helping and supporting the achievement of functional quality standards, through a solid and competent supplier base, strategically sounds relationships and sounds technical knowledge. Contribute in supporting strategic thinking through a matrix approach, optimising efficiencies in ordering, cost negotiation, RM stock management and on time delivery. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Support the procurement strategy and approach with the commitment of all relevant internal stakeholder is developed in partnership with the Senior Management within the Trims Category
-Partner with the business and maintain continuous dialogue to understand ongoing business needs & future aspirations
-Develop, maintain and evolve a robust supplier matrix
-Build and establish collaborative partnerships with key suppliers, including timely 2 way communications, feedback on performance, risk mitigation
-Assist in the end to end management activities of the supplier base (including selecting and onboarding, negotiation, matrix and risk management, capacity management, performance and exit)
-Participate actively in the negotiation of cost, lead time and minimums of RMs 
-Build cost sheet break down for RMs focusing particularly on core or strategic RMS
-Map and manage supply chain for core or strategic RMs/Suppliers
-Contribute and support sustainable materials and manufacturing
-Track supplier performance in line with KPIs set

PERSONAL PROFILE

-Technical degree in textile or textile related studies
-Negotiation skills
-Fluent in both Italian and English
-Advanced level of Excel    
-Previous experience in Textile 
-Knowledge of luxury industry
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Strong soft / inter-personal skills
