Our client, an elite advisory boutique based in Paris, is looking to hire a dynamic and highly skilled Associate to join their Rating Advisory team. The team advises corporates, private equity, and hedge funds across Europe, handling a diverse range of debt-related products and strategic situations, including:
- Financing & Refinancing: Structuring and executing mandates both on a standalone basis or in the context of corporate M&A.
- Sponsor-Owned Clients: Providing tailored financial solutions and advisory for sponsor-backed companies.
- Distressed M&A & Restructuring: Supporting distressed clients from both company and lender perspectives.
The Role:As an Associate, you will work as part of a 10-person team within a broader Financial Advisory platform. Collaborating closely with the M&A team, you will deliver financial and strategic advice to a broad range of clients. You will:
- Originate & Execute Transactions: For both corporate and sponsor clients.
- Develop Financial Models: Perform cash-flow sensitivity and rating analyses to assess client situations.
- Assess Credit Ratings: Evaluate the impact of transactions on capital structures and credit ratings.
- Prepare Client Presentations: Create compelling, data-driven presentations and marketing materials.
- Lead Deal Execution: Coordinate across stakeholders including legal advisors, financing parties, and rating agencies.
- Mentor Junior Team Members: Help develop and train the next generation of talent.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience in a Tier-1 financial advisory firm or relevant institution.
- Prior Rating Advisory experience is essential.
- Proven academic excellence.
- Fluent in both French and English.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
- A high-energy individual with a team-oriented mindset and attention to detail.
