Radionuclide Clinical Nurse Specialist

An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Nurse specialist to support our growing radionuclide therapy service working with a multidisciplinary team of Nurses, Radiographers and Technologists. This is an exciting role where you will play a key role to develop and improve our day case therapy services.

Southampton is a Centre of Excellence for Neuroendocrine Disease where we deliver the best service to our patients locally and across the wider Wessex region. The day case radionuclide therapy service started in 2020 treating neuroendocrine and prostate cancer patients. We work collaboratively to deliver therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma and thyroid disease. You will be responsible for the provision of specialist care for a defined patient group providing specialist advice, education and support. A background of working with radioactivity is not needed as full training to handle and administer these substances will be provided.
