Quality Control Technician is the partial back up of the quality manager.Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all employees are working to comply with all H.B. Fuller policies.
- Ensuring compliance with appropriate laws and regulations.
- Coordinates the day-to-day activity of the quality control lab.
- Ensuring compliance with appropriate laws and regulations.
- Ensure all safety protocols are respected, and good housekeeping maintained
- Ensure the quality team is sufficiently qualified and trained
- Smooth handling of all activities related with the quality control of received raw materials, products in production and finished goods to meet the customer’s requirements
- Coordinate with R&D in order to improve our process control continuously
- Analysis of customer complaints, fill in report form, complete SFDC and provide a root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action plan to the customer. Work in multifunctional teams with production, logistics, process, R&D and maintenance when needed.
- Provide internal quality training
- 5S check list and follow up, keeping quality control lab under 5S principles.
- Quality Management System Activities
- Involvement during internal & external audits (ISO, Customer, Automotive, Housekeeping).
- Responsible for timely response/resolution to quality complaints and internal complaints/alerts.
- Timely Reporting
Minimum Requirements:
- Bac +2 in chemistry or High school degree (BACC Chimie) with 5+ year experience in the adhesive industry
- Good written and verbal communication skills (French & English).
- Excellent computer skills Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, SAP, Minitab
- Rigorous, methodological, organized
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Ability to work without supervision and to make decisions.
- Qualified Quality Auditor / Experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 9001:2015; experience in ISO 14001, TS 16949,ISO 22000 would be beneficial
Physical Environment:This position is operating in a mixed environment of office and factory in function of needs.This position will work in a flexible time schedule, ensuring presence while production is busy.#LI-SC1H.B.
