Quality Control Analyst in Fornovo San Giovanni, Italy

The Position

For our site in Fornovo San Giovanni (BG) we are looking for a Senior Quality Control Analyst to join our team responsible for the release and concerning Stability Program analysis. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in the use of key analytical equipment (HPLC, IR, UV) and the testing of finished products and has experience of working in a GMP environment.

Tasks&Responsibilities

• Sampling and testing finished products using current pharmacopoeias and current BI Analytic method in place with the application of any associated physical chemical test and instrumental techniques (HPLC, IR, UV…)

• Working with all members of staff to maintain and develop the positive progressive culture within The BI philosophy.

• Observing and complying with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP)

• Observing and complying with company Health and Safety Policies

• Observing and complying with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Supporting all QC activities

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years experienced in Quality Control Pharmaceutical Laboratory; skill/experience gained in a similar position

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry is a plus

• Experience of working in a GMP environment

• Native level of Italian language and B1 level of English

• Highly proficient in the use of key analytical equipment (HPLC, GC IR, UV…) and the testing of API

• Ability to achieve and maintain high standards with meticulous attention to detail

• Ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment, adhering to strict deadlines/timescales

• Team work, problem solving and ability to work under pressure
