Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer – IT Customer Experience (Scrum Team – SAP for Me)
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our development team. The QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product owners, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, conduct tests, and provide feedback to improve our products.
What you’ll do:
-Develop and Execute Test Plans: Create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
-Manual and Automated Testing: Perform both manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.
-Bug Tracking and Reporting: Document and track bugs and defects using Jira, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
-Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new changes do not affect existing functionality.
-Performance Testing: Evaluate the performance, scalability, and stability of our applications under various conditions.
-Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, UX designers, to ensure high-quality product releases.
-Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies.
What you bring:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
-Proficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
-Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
-Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG to streamline testing processes
-Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
-Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript or similar.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
-Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.
-Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
-Experience in testing web applications.

SAP Intelligent Enterprise Services DXC Customer Portals is responsible to define and implement SAP’s customer & partner portal SAP for Me. SAP for Me is one of the three main digital access points to SAP. In this context SAP for Me is the digital companion for all customers and partners to efficiently manage all their tasks and get insights in all their data related to their SAP collaboration.
The Customer Portals team has about 50 employees located in Germany, China, USA and Romania. We are using cutting edge technologies and managing the agile scrum teams with the SAFe methodology.
Work experience: 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
