Responsibilities

-Supervise the day-to-day operations of the team
-Oversee resources to ensure implementation of team goals and tasks
-Maintain QMS according to ISO and other applicable regulatory requirements
-Lead and facilitate internal audits and assist in performing vendor audits, participate as needed in external audits
-Respond to assigned customer complaints and CAPAs for investigation, root cause analysis and implement solutions
-Lead investigations of materials non-conformance
-Participate (by reviewing and evaluating impact) in disposition of non-conforming material decision-making process
-Plan, coordinate, execute and document studies for process improvement, as needed
-Conduct training on defect awareness
-Manage test equipment/ measures used by team
-Responsible for achieving competency in all identified skill requirements outlined in associated training profile for position
Requirements
:
-Number of Overall Years Necessary: 5-8
-Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Engineering or equivalent industry disciplines with Master’s degree or 8 years of experience in equivalent area with Bachelor’s degree
-Experience in medical device manufacturing regarding Quality System requirements per 21 CFR 820 and/or ISO 13485 preferred
-Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math, Natural Sciences, Computer Science (IT), or related study required
-Master’s Degree in Engineering, Math, Natural Sciences, Computer Science (IT), Business administration or related study preferred
-Supervisory experience required with excellent independent judgement and interpersonal skills
-Excellent mathematical, written communication and verbal communication skills
-Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO and FDA Regulations
-Knowledge of ”Lean” and „Six Sigma Black Belt” preferred
-English language required
