You will be provided with full training, and have the benefit of working alongside our clinical colleagues from Speech and Language, Occupational and Music Therapy to provide a therapeutically informed approach.What will you be doing?Establish and maintain good working relationships in order to promote the development and effective delivery of the school curriculum and maximise our young people’s achievement.Teaching students according to their educational needs and acknowledging that every interaction counts.Creating a safe and well-regulated teaching space that will ensure the educational well-being of individual children within the group.Following agreed and consistent strategies to support young people alongside school, therapeutic services and residential colleagues.Ensuring careful and ongoing assessment of learning to inform further planning and next steps.Ensuring that tasks and activities are matched to the ability of the children- allowing them to make meaningful progress and skills and knowledge that can be applied in real life context.Working within a team of like-minded professionals, using team work and humour to ensure a cohesive and supportive education community.
