Job Title: Qualified Religious Education TeacherLocation: East of England, Essex, ThurrockJob Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £33,075 – £45,037 Per annumJob Description:Job Duties:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons to students
• Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies
• Assess and evaluate student progress to provide feedback and support
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and student learning experience

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree in Religious Education or related field
• Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Religious Education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Religious Education or related field

Experience:

• Previous experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary level
• Demonstrated track record of student achievement and engagement

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of different religious beliefs and practises
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Strong classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education
• Experience with assessment for learning strategies
