Protocol Education is working with local schools across Bristol and North Somerset who are on the hunt for a Georgraphy Teacher to start in the new academic year. The role will be full time and permanent, with expectations of planning, marking and, of course, teaching.The role and what we are looking forYou will have a confident understanding of the curriculum, excellent subject knowledge and proven success as an effective leader. The successful candidate is someone who:

  • is forward thinking and capable of inspiring students through their passion for Geography
  • has experience teaching the subject to KS3 and KS4
  • is a successful teacher who believes in bringing out the best in every student and who believes in the potential of all
  • challenges our young people to think in new ways
  • can turn ideas and opportunities into success
  • establishes and maintains strong relationships, using excellent interpersonal skills
  • sets high expectations for teaching and learning
  • is a reflective and collaborative practitioner
  • has an up-to-date knowledge of teaching and behaviour management strategies
