QHSE specialist – Electrolyzer in Belgium

DESCRIPTION

At our Oevel site in Belgium, Cummins is developing innovative Fuel Cell and Electrolyzer technologies that can generate hydrogen for various applications with zero emissions – contributing to a safe and healthy environment for future generations.

We are currently looking for a QHSE Specialist . The role reports to the Commissioning Group Lader.

Your tasks

• Responsible for ensuring quality, health, safety and environmental (QHSE) aspects in End Of Line testing and Validation test execution and infrastructure

• Responsible for preparing and ensuring QHSE related topics in field installation and commissioning activities of hydrogen electrolyzer projects

• Review procedures, processes and check and ensure that they are being followed

• Perform document control tasks

• Perform risk analyses of standard and non-standard activities

• Perform audits at customer sites globally to ensure field engineers can work safely

• Collaborate with local and global HSE teams for proper implementation and follow-up of HSE measures

• Develop and document safe working methods and training programs

• Incident reporting

Your Profile

· College, university, or equivalent degree required. Occupational Health, Safety or Environmental degree preferred.

· Prevention advisor level 2 or Level 3 certification (experience from the EPC and gas industry is preferred).

· Intermediate experience required, including project management.

· Experience with Industrial Safety Standards preferred.

• Good communication skills and capable of handling conflict in a constructive way.

• Experience in working with continuous process improvement.

· Strong interpersonal skills, work well within a high pressure, dynamic, deadline-oriented and team-focused environment.

• Fluent in English is mandatory.

· Fluent in Dutch is strongly preferred.
