Job Description

As a QC Laboratory System Support, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and accuracy of laboratory equipment through internal calibrations and coordinating external calibration activities with vendors. Your expertise will ensure that our QC laboratory equipment continues to meet the highest standards of performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform internal calibrations on QC laboratory equipment (e.g., HPLC, Micro-centrifuge, Osmometer, Balance).
  • Coordinate external calibration activities performed by vendors, ensuring timely and accurate calibrations.
  • Maintain detailed records of all calibration activities to ensure traceability and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with the QC team to ensure equipment is available and functioning properly for laboratory operations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including GMP guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Equivalent of an associate’s degree in a relevant field such as Laboratory Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related area. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a QC laboratory setting.
  • Strong knowledge of calibration procedures and equipment maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with GMP guidelines and regulations is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English.
