We’re only getting started.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a QA Engineer to play a key role in continuously improving the quality of our e-commerce platform. You will be central in implementing automated tests in collaboration with experienced QA testers. You will work in a modern, cutting-edge technological context: Cucumber, Playwright, XRay, GitLab, Gherkin, AI, etc. This position requires the ability to quickly ramp up technical skills and work closely with cross-functional teams (product, software engineering, QA).Key Responsibilities:Test Automation

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cucumber and Playwright (TypeScript).
  • Integrate scripts into CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable release validation1.

Expected outcomes:

  • Reduced release validation times through automated critical scenarios.
  • Improved delivery reliability, with a decrease in critical bugs identified late.

Collaboration with Experienced QA Testers

  • Work with testers who have excellent functional knowledge to identify and prioritize critical scenarios for automation.
  • Support their skill development in automation tools and methodologies.

Expected outcomes:

  • Creation of a prioritized catalog of automated scenarios, validated by the QA team.
  • A more autonomous QA team in using automation tools, increasing its ability to test effectively.

Functional Expertise Development

  • Immerse yourself in the functional scope to understand critical flows (user journeys, promotion management, order flow, etc.)
  • Actively participate in discussions with product and software engineering teams to ensure relevant test coverage

Documentation and Reporting

  • Write and maintain documentation for automated and manual tests in XRay (integrated with Jira).
  • Provide regular reports on test coverage and automated execution results.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in test automation; mastery of the Cucumber/Playwright (TypeScript) stack would be highly appreciated.
  • Proficiency in XRay for managing test assets and campaigns in Jira.
  • ISTQB certification (Foundation level or higher) strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of pipelines (ideally GitLab).
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to work in cross-functional product/engineering teams.

  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Autonomy and initiative to structure and improve QA processes.
  • Pedagogy and patience to support colleagues in their technical skill development.
