Believe’s mission is to develop local artists and labels in the digital ecosystem by providing them the solutions they need to grow their audience at each stage of their career and development.Its 2,020 employees in more than 50 countries aim to support local artists and labels with a unique digital expertise, respect, fairness and transparency.To support our fast-growing presence on all continents, we are constantly looking for new Believers to join us and make a stronger and more positive impact on the music industry!Believe is listed on compartment A of the regulated market of Euronext Paris (Ticker: BLV, ISIN: FR0014003FE9).Ready to #setthetone with Believe?Job DescriptionIntegrated into the Platform Engineering team, and directly reporting to the Tribe Lead QA, we are looking for Quality engineers to join our Platform Engineering team!Organized in a dotted-line structure, you will be fully integrated into product engineering squads to help Believe build our products with high quality.As a QA engineer, you will be responsible for sharing our quality principles, goals, and methodologies with the squads, and assisting them by implementing tools, processes, and metrics to achieve our quality targets.You will act as the quality liaison between development teams, platform teams, and product teams to ensure all needs are met by implementing the necessary rituals or frameworks (Tres amigos, TDD/BDD, A/B testing, etc.).Missions:As a Junior QA engineer, you will be able to

• Being integrated into an agile team to master the functional scope and participate in the development of tests associated with the functionalities developed by the team, as well as ensuring their quality.
• Help the team always keep quality in mind, acting as the QA coach to lead them towards an Agile QA vision, focused on shift-left and product value.
• Assist the development of automated tests necessary for the continuous validation of the product.
• Ensure the stability of automated tests executed in continuous integration as well as the product itself.
• Define the software tools necessary for product testing and help the Core team to develop them.
• Ensure that all the quality gates are correctly integrated and respected through our continuous integration pipeline.
• Elaborate complete test plans on a specific scope.
• Write, improve, and maintain non-regression test cases.
• Detect defects and provide complete and accurate bug reports.
• Analyze automated test results for each release.
• Actively participate in meetings and share work within the team.

QualificationsProfile:

• Experience as an agile QA within a team and in test automation across different test environments
• Meticulous, autonomous, and detail-oriented
• Strong belief that robust and reliable software should be a priority.
• Familiarity with QA tools, frameworks, and methodologies (such as BDD/TDD, SonarQube, Cypress, Pytest, K6, etc.).

Skills:With foundational experience in software development or software quality, develop a solid understanding of the product and contribute to maintaining its quality. Possess the following knowledge:

• Use of tools and languages associated with automated tests (Python, Pytest, Cypress, bash, etc.)
• Knowledge of containers and associated deployment systems

• Anticipate needs to test a specific feature.
• Understand release cycles and correspondent test protocols.
• Technical English

Preferred Knowledge:

• Practical experience with backend testing
• Ideally, a good understanding of the music industry.
