Python Developer
PL24/REMOTE/TS/PYTHONWe are looking for an experienced Python Developer to join the team that works on the development of a self-serve data platform, composed of multiple services, infrastructure-related resources, and tools that enable data integration, processing, quality assessment, storage, and sharing.Project information:

• Industry: IT Consulting
• Type of project: development of domain-driven data platform
• Remote work: 100% remote work from Poland
• Budget: B2B: 1000 – 1200 PLN/net/day
• Contract length: long-term cooperation
• Start date: depending on candidate”s availability

Project scope:

• Develop a domain-driven data platform
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Improve performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and provide solutions to these problems
• Implementing unit tests
• Support timely delivery of technical solutions in line with estimations provided
• Work on agile software development projects with globally distributed teams

Competence demands:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• 5+ YoE in Python, expertise in at least one Python framework (Django, Flask, etc)
• Understand the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
• Knowledge of Java or/and Kotlin
• Familiar with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries
• Python unit tests and Blackbox or other type of tests
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Experience operating database software on Linux in large-scale production
• environments
• Knowledge of MongoDB, Hadoop, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Spark, etc.
• Familiar with cloud computing principles
• Good understanding of UI/UX standards
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON applications
• Familiar with other technologies – iOS, Angular, React, Node.js, React Native or Flutter
