The Position

As our Public Affairs Manager you will be planning and executing the short and long-term Corporate Communication/Public Affairs Strategy. You will be representing Novo Nordisk at public conferences, meetings, debates, roundtables in order to support strategic Corporate Communication objectives including cardiovascular and developing a broad and sustained stakeholder network.

The Public Affairs Manager role reports directly to Sr Director, Patient Access & Public Affairs.

Your main accountabilities will be:

-Building the desired corporate image with key stakeholders including patient organizations, KOLs, Health Care decision makers, media, influencers, lay public

-Planning and coordination of educational activities in CVD field conducted by Novo Nordisk

-Supervising and executing key programs within Corporate PA, Corporate brand PR

-Promoting Novo Nordisk Way and ensure full compliance with business ethics and quality systems and procedures

Qualifications

To be effective in this role, it is mandatory to have:

-University master’s degree and express high interest in healthcare and social issues.

-A minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in industry, consultancy, or public institutions – preferably from the pharmaceutical or other policy-driven, highly regulated sectors.

-Deep knowledge of public affairs theory and practice and thorough understanding of market access fundamentals

-Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and communications skills strong strategic planning and strategy execution skills

-Knowledge of legal regulations in the field of healthcare system in Poland

-Understanding the vital role of ethical and professional standards

-Fluency in Polish and English (written/spoken) is a must.

As a person, you need to have excellent communication skills (verbal and nonverbal), which are essential to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (clarity and concision, friendliness, confidence, empathy, open-mindedness, respect), picking the right medium (adjust the form of communication to the subject and audience).
