Psychology Graduate SEN Coach – NorthfieldA secondary school in Northfield is looking for a Psychology Graduate SEN Coach to provide academic support for Year 8 pupils with SEN needs, including Autism, ADHD, and those with an EHCP. The role will involve working within lessons, helping students access the curriculum and providing 1:1 and small group support to ensure their individual learning needs are met.*** Psychology Graduate SEN Coach

*** Curriculum support to SEN children in Year 8This is a full-time role, starting immediately and offering £80-£90 per day. The position provides a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a school setting, particularly for those looking to pursue a career in education or SEN support.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class support across a range of subjects, helping SEN pupils engage with the curriculum.
• Work closely with teachers to adapt lesson content for pupils with Autism, ADHD, and EHCPs.
• Assist in monitoring and tracking pupils’ progress, helping them achieve their individual education plan (IEP) goals.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports emotional and academic development.

Requirements:

• A degree in Psychology or a related field.
• A strong interest in working with children with special educational needs.
• Patience, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
• Experience working with SEN pupils is beneficial but not essential.
