The company promotes an open and informal culture with short communication lines, placing strong emphasis on diversity, personal development, and safety as central values.What will you doOur client is looking for a Projects Scheduler to manage the scheduling of various projects across multiple teams, including Engineering, Subsurface, and Drilling & Wells. This role involves coordinating both annual engineering projects and other key business initiatives from different departments.The Projects Scheduler will ensure all project phases are tracked, optimizing schedules for resource efficiency and integration into the overall Field Activity Plan. They will also monitor engineering resources, identify potential delays, and communicate workload updates to management, ensuring sufficient staffing for all ongoing projects.In addition, the Projects Scheduler ensures compliance with all relevant standards and procedures, including safety and environmental regulations.Reporting to the Project Portfolio Manager, this position will work closely with both Onshore and Offshore Planning teams to align project execution with short- and long-term field plans.The role is based at our client’s office in North Holland.Your ResponsibilitiesThe Projects Scheduler will gather and review data on all activities related to Engineering & Projects, ensuring a comprehensive overview of ongoing and upcoming tasks. In collaboration with the Projects Portfolio Manager and various engineers, they will compile the necessary information for integrated planning, including projects from outside the core Engineering & Projects team.In addition to internal projects, the Scheduler will track broader business initiatives and development opportunities, ensuring these are reflected in the long-term integrated activity plan. They will use the current planning framework to create this plan in Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with timelines and available resources. Priorities will be set in cooperation with relevant departments to ensure a feasible plan for all stakeholders.The Scheduler will maintain a detailed resource plan for the entire Engineering & Projects department, showing the workload per person, team, or project, and incorporating support for operations and maintenance.To improve efficiency, the role involves attending planning meetings, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, and implementing these changes within the engineering and project activities. The Scheduler will also stay informed about new techniques and methods in their field, initiating improvements to enhance the planning process.Administrative tasks will include managing the integrated activity plan and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external standards, including legal and HSSE requirements, using the CMMS system (Maximo).Finally, the Scheduler will provide advisory support on integrated planning, offering guidance to stakeholders as needed and occasionally assisting with planning for the Subsurface and Drilling & Wells teams.What we are looking forWe are seeking candidates with at least 5 years of experience in scheduling within the Energy or Oil & Gas industry. We are particularly interested in seeing the following qualifications and skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in Planning & Logistics or a related field.
- Proficiency in using Primavera P6.
- Strong organizational skills, along with excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching, and influencing abilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Projects.
- Familiarity with Maximo software is a plus.
- Proven track record of effectively collaborating with management and the ability to challenge or influence decisions when necessary.
- Up-to-date knowledge of technological trends and industry standards.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English.
- Residency in the Netherlands.
