PM Group has been in operation in Denmark for the last 5 years, with a number of projects in both the pharma and mission critical sectors.The position for a Project / Program Manager, will be based on-site in the Copenhagen area. The Program Manager will be interfacing at senior/executive level in both PM Group and with clients, while supporting plans for future development.Applicants should process experience in the pharma and/or mission critical sectors, good management, organisations and technical skills and be able to work in a dynamic and growing environment.As this role is based in Denmark, we require candidates that are EU passport holders only apply for the role. :Project Management Tools
- Perform work in compliance with PM Group’s Service Delivery platforms and Quality Management System
Project Execution
- Safe execution of all phases of the project
- Overall responsibility for technical/commercial delivery and execution of a task
- Develop the Quality Plan (separate plan or include in Project Execution Plan (PEP)/ Scope of Services Execution Plan (SSEP) depending on scale and phase of project)
- Set up and maintain the Project Compliance Tracker (PCT) for early notification of any significant project issues with potential compliance risk for PM Group
- Review and understand commercial aspects of the project
- Defining the scope of the project
- Defining PM Group’s scope of work and how the project will be delivered within the available PM Group budget
- Organise the File Index, Facilities, Kick-off Meetings, PEP/SSEP
- Develop a project execution strategy and agree same with the PM Project Team and the Customer
- Monitor the effectiveness of the strategy and modify as necessary to accommodate changing circumstances throughout the life of the project
- Develop construction/contracting strategy and implement
- Implement construction/procurement/contracting strategy using PM Group Standard tools
- Identify resource needs, timing and organize with resource owners
- Lead design teams in design coordination, ensuring the design is fully coordinated between all disciplines including sub-contractors and site teams
Commercial Awareness
- Obtain PO from the Client
- Agree invoicing details, track payments, control expenses,
- Make a profit and address any problem areas having a negative effect on this.
- Prepare Project Monthly Internal Report (PMIR) for PM Group Management and ensure early notification of any significant project issues with potential commercial risk for PM Group
Ensure Customer agreement, sub-consultant agreement, construction contracts are in place * Develop and agree project schedule(s)
- Track/report progress and implement controls
- Develop project budget and PM Group fee budget,
- Monitor and report
- Set up the project change management log
- Prepare change orders.
- Identify and record changes alters
- Review regularly with the Client
- Obtain approval for same before implementing any change
Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory obligations
Project Management Knowledge
Identify and assess risk to project and to PM Group * Monitor and enforce compliance with PM Group and/or Customer procedures
- Review contract risks, organize appropriate reviews and take appropriate steps to mitigate as necessary
Customer Care
- Develop and maintain good Customer relations
- Set up appropriate communications and reporting structures (meeting, reports etc.), follow up on any Customer complaints or issues
- Lead the proposal effort and develop the execution strategy and commercials for proposal
- Lead the presentation to the Client
Leadership
- Motivate and direct the project team, including sub consultants
Monitor Project Performance
- Prepare project report for the Customer (weekly/monthly or otherwise as required by the Customer or as appropriate to the project), covering Health Safety and Environmental, project progress (achieved and planned), cost and schedule status, ensuring visibility of key project risks, trends and areas of concern
- Support completion of the monthly Broad-brush for the Office
- Close out project including certification, handover, close-out review / report, project metrics, capturing “Lessons Learned” and filing/archiving

- Ideally 10 years relevant experience in PM Group’s core Sectors, with significant Pharma Sector experience
- Experience of managing projects of 10,000 to 50,000 hours in the pharma sector
- Good commercial awareness and business acumen
- Good understanding of all disciplines
