The IT PM will interact with internal stakeholders as a means of providing regular updates on IT project’s performance, schedules, and resources. The IT PM also needs to be able to work autonomously and adapt to an evolving work structure.This position is 100% remote.Responsibilities:
- Manage all our internal IT projects, from planning to execution
- Be the scrum master for all internal project teams
- Provide scrum and project reports to upper management
- Perform Stakeholder Management
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and allocating resources
- Delegate project tasks to employees who are best positioned to complete them
- Identify and manage potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects
- Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Plan sprints and tasks in Jira
- Work with the required project management tools including Jira and Asana
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of IT project management experience with a consulting or professional services firm
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to organize, motivate and communicate with teams.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with product and/or software development processes
- Certified Scrum Master Certification (CSM)
- Understanding of resource management including human, financial, and other asset-based resources.
- Strong preference for familiarity with Agile methodology including knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence) and project tools like Asana.
- Excellent command of written/spoken English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with IT projects
- Experience working in Entrepreneurial and Startup environments
