In this role, you’ll oversee the entire construction process, from feasibility studies to delivering large-scale and complex projects. Your responsibilities include organizing and leading project teams through various stages, ensuring timely delivery within budget and meeting quality standards. As a Project Manager / Project Developer, you’ll handle multiple projects simultaneously, dealing with aspects such as program efficiency, progress monitoring, information flow, finance, legal matters, and administration. Acting as the client’s representative, you’ll address complex issues and navigate governance and political relationships. Technical expertise isn’t required, as the focus is on managing processes. You’ll collaborate with other team members and an operational manager, ensuring adherence to company standards.Day to day tasks

• Develop the strategic program and proactively ensure its achievement by anticipating and resolving project issues to maintain construction progress on site.
• Address complex issues and navigate governance and political relationships to resolve or prevent obstacles.
• Assist in establishing and monitoring the project budget to ensure compliance.
• Establish and lead the project team, including clients, contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Design and maintain the project organization/structure.
• Arrange legal contracts, potentially in collaboration with the client’s legal team.
• Offer strategic advice to the client as needed.
• Organize and oversee tender processes.
• Attend all meetings as the client’s representative, ensuring accurate minutes are recorded, possibly by yourself.
• Negotiate with external parties.
• Identify and mitigate risks promptly, managing the risk register.
• Supervise all project actions and deadlines, motivating the project team to achieve objectives.
• Understand the project’s various stakeholders and involve them as necessary.
• Provide the client with weekly progress reports and participate in strategic meetings to update them on project progress.
• Handle financial tasks such as requesting proposals, awarding contracts, processing change orders, managing invoices, etc.

As a Project Manager / Project Developer for our client, you serve as their primary point of contact, necessitating full-time presence on construction sites. During the pre-construction phase, your base of operations will be our Amsterdam office.
