Project Manager, Platform Extension Services

Your role at Dynatrace

The Extensions Project Manager works directly with the members of the extensions team as well as several Dynatrace departments to help the team in day-to-day activities. He/she represents Dynatrace as knowledgeable in the practice of application performance management, providing customers and colleagues with the best practice project management activities.

The project manager will ensure that projects are created, tracked and delivered on time. Projects will include paid for custom work, R&D and tooling projects.

The role includes prioritization of projects to ensure timely delivery. Tracking of any delays or changes within the project life cycle. This includes delays at the customer end and projects put on hold.

Once projects have been delivered, the project manager will ensure that the timesheets have been completed and that JIRA tickets are closed.

What will help you succeed

• Maintain JIRA tickets for stories and RFAs.
• Project administration
• Highlight bottlenecks and blockers for current projects
• Liaise with team leaders to ensure that workload is even between team members.
• Escalate issues
• Update customers on project progress delivery
• Create tools to improve the productivity and professionalism of the extensions team
• Provide progress reports and global KPI across all projects

Required Skills

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years on project management
• Inherent and proven problem-solving nature, with an engaged, self-motivated, can-do attitude
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable with people from the development labs to the executive offices
• Comfortable taking educated risks as warranted

Desired Experience

• 1+ years of consulting experience, preferably with APM tools
• 1+ years of Dynatrace experience
• Proven track record of handling complaints through excellent diplomacy
• JIRA and Salesforce
