Project Manager – Owned Media

In this role, you’ll join the Owned Media team in Salzburg, which drives the global strategy for Red Bull’s Owned channels, including RedBull.com and the Red Bull TV app.

RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we’ll trust you with:

  • Project Management
  • You’ll act as the lead to consolidate and distill requirements into a working business brief that can be formalized into actions from our supporting product and development teams, who include product managers, analytics leads, engineering teams, IT specialists, and others. You’ll also act to oversee all implementation and operationalization of product changes – ensuring all development minimizes the internal resource requirement while maximizing the user facing outcome.
  • Channel Operations & Processes
  • Beyond reactionary development, you’ll act to jointly define a shared long-term vision of success to empower product managers to develop changes that support our long-term goals – driving a proactive and innovative approach that delivers premium experiences that elevate users’ day. This role has absolute oversight over the Owned Media tool landscape that powers Red Bull.com and Red Bull TV and the application and operations of these tools at both a market and international level. This role is the guardian of resources and ensures all product and operational requirements minimize the input of local and international teams. In your day-to-day you’ll manage product briefings, check-ins, and ensure appropriate stakeholders are informed. You’ll continuously update affected teams on progress and be the main POC for owned product development questions coming from any business stakeholders.
  • Timeline Management
  • In this role you’ll ensure that all projects have a clear timeline and internal deliverable dates are defined and communicated to key stakeholders impacted – specifically within the owned media, media IT, and digital products and services teams. You’ll also maintain oversight over technical deliverables and roadmaps to prioritize according to shifting business needs and external developments and you’ll ensure smooth and most efficient workflows for operations between key business teams tasked to operate owned tools and products.

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in working in a similar role, in large organizations or within cross-functional media teams
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities, tools, and environments.
  • Service-oriented, efficient, and inventive professional with advanced problem-solving skills, outstanding attention to detail and effective communication skills
  • Strong time management skills; ability to troubleshoot & balance multiple projects.
  • Collaborative thinker and team player who thrives in connecting people to optimize project outcomes
  • Fluent in English, any other language would be a plus
  • Travel 0-10%

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 2,208 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
