This position will lead cross-functional project teams to efficiently implement capital/expense improvements to meet specific business objectives.Our TeamThe Technology team is accountable for projects (planning, design, execution and governance), technology development, process safety, reliability and quality. The team is driving continuous improvements as well as transformational change of the way we work. We are seeking an individual who can manage multiple projects in various phases in a timely and safe manner, anticipate and challenge situations, solve problems, proactively remove roadblocks, and make sound recommendations.What You Will Do

• Manage the development and execution of capital and expense projects from a conceptional state to completion.

• Lead a project team consisting of engineers, operations, construction, and vendors to ensure all aspects of the project are properly considered, including scope selection, safety, environmental, construction, operations, and reliability.

• Communicate capital project status to various stakeholders within the organization.

• Develop comprehensive project execution plans with focus on scope, cost, schedule, risk management, engineering, procurement, and construction.

• Apply effective project controls in capital execution, including estimating, scheduling, cost engineering, forecasting, management of change (Including proper use of challenge process) and reporting.

• Recognize opportunities for value creation and innovation in the project management work processes.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• BSc. or MSc. in engineering (process, mechanical)

• Experience involving leading and coordinating projects in industrial settings (chemical industry)

• Experience communicating with various levels of an organization (engineers, managers, senior leadership, constructors, operators)

What Will Put You Ahead

• Process or mechanical engineer with project and/or design experience

• Several years of project management experience at manufacturing site or engineering contractor
