Context

The Project manager will be responsible for managing a set of projects, ensuring cost, quality and time expectations are achieved within each individual project. They will be responsible for leading a cross functional project team, coordinating tasks, timelines and managing project risks and budget.

Key Accountabilities

  • Accountable for delivering against parameters and success criteria

  • Providing options and avenues for the decision makers within the project

  • Strong Leadership values – Bringing together and leading the team by ensuring you have the necessary roles.

  • Have a clear ability to influence.

  • Organisation – capable of managing a set of projects; managing cost, quality, timelines, project risks and project budget.

  • Leading a cross functional project team

  • Excellent Stakeholder Management

Qualifications and Experience

  • You will be a natural leader with a consistent track record in seeing opportunities, developing these through to business case and then successfully delivering and embedding change using effective Project Management techniques.

  • Experience working in a process environment with evidence to demonstrate ability to develop effective working relationships with customers and cross functional teams to deliver organisational effectiveness and improved business performance.

  • Experience in utilising Manufacturing Excellence, Change Management tools and techniques.

  • Ability to interpret and analyse extensive data sources to identify loss and waste, cost saving opportunities and trends.

  • Basic financial awareness, understanding of business drivers, budgeting processes.

  • Proficient in use of standard business (MS Office) and Diageo packages and relevant external portals (SAP, Planview, Power BI etc).

  • Extensive project management skills including Green and Black Belt Six Sigma.

  • Experience of working in a challenging quality & customer focused environment.

  • Knowledge of industry – brewing and distilling or food and FMCG.

  • Organisation skills are essential, managing multiple projects at once.
