Job Description:Finance DivisionThe Finance division of Euroclear consists of pure Finance activities (i.e. Accounting, Corporate Finance, etc.), as well as Supply Chain, Facilities and a Transversal function.The Transversal function is in charge of the change management and group-wide coordination of all transversal activities falling within the remit of the Finance division. In this context, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the preparation of the Euroclear Group Annual Report and the integration therein of the new CSRD disclosures.Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end process of annual reports of the Euroclear Group entities, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Ensure adherence to EU regulatory frameworks and Belgian laws governing annual reports. Stay abreast of regulatory developments and changes impacting reporting requirements and incorporate updates into the preparation process.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Finance, Risk Management, Legal, Internal Communications and Compliance to gather relevant information for inclusion in the Report.
  • Collaborate with the CSO to ensure timely and efficient integration of CSRD disclosures in the Report.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the audit process and ensure accuracy and transparency in the reporting.
  • Create and run project timelines, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines.
  • Provide guidance and support to teams involved in the preparation of the Report, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to best practices, and quality standards.
  • Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to organisational standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Regularly communicate project updates and progress to senior management and important individuals involved in the project. Facilitate the submission of the report to relevant committees within specified deadlines.
  • Liaise with graphic designers to facilitate the design of the report and with translators to facilitate the translation of the report into French, ensuring accuracy and consistency in messaging.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to the report preparation process for audit and regulatory purposes.
  • Continuously assess operational areas for potential enhancements and implement appropriate modifications to improve overall efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the finance or insurance industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • Experience in preparation of annual reports, pillar 3 report or similar financial institution related report is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulations (incl. CSRD)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency in financial and non-financial data.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to cope with last minute and sometimes contradictory changes requested by involved parties.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial reporting software.
