Then you might be the person, we are looking for in Quality Control (QC) Projects!

As a part of QC, we are working on various projects and tasks that are anchored in, or impacts, the daily operations in QC. Currently, we are focusing on preparing QC for the future demands for the ongoing expansions of our manufacturing facilities at Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies. This includes (but is not limited to) supporting the process of designing and building the new facilities, creating business cases, identifying gaps in current setup, and managing implementation of optimizations and new processes. Everything we do is in close collaboration with the rest of the QC organization, QC management, other departments at Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies, and external stakeholders, which makes us key players in communication and change management across the organization. The various tasks and broad range of stakeholders combined with the changing priorities makes our everyday exciting, unforeseeable, and versatile.

  • Coordinate/facilitate efforts to ensure information travels smoothly between stakeholders to enable efficient decision making within the projects.
  • Develop plans, maintain existing timelines, and coordinate QC specific timelines for the projects.
  • Communicate with testing teams, supporting teams and management and ensure decisions are being put into motion.
  • Facilitate workshops and follow-up meetings to ensure operational readiness of a laboratory, e.g., ensuring correct utilities are present.

We work in a high pace and complex environment due to the ongoing expansions in Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies. To succeed in this position, you must be good at adjusting to changes with short notice and be able to act as a role model together with the rest of the team with a positive mindset to new challenges. This position also covers a very wide range of tasks with big variance ranging from practical hands-on tasks to academic/administrative tasks and thus you will have a very diverse workday.

  • With the current ongoing site expansion in scope, you must be able to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a busy GMP environment.
  • Almost all tasks require buy-in from stakeholders, so you possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.
