Would you like to build a more sustainable future with us?We are now looking for aProject Manager (Cable Installation)To join our team in Delft, Netherlands. You will lead complex high-voltage cable installation projects in our domestic market. You will take ownership of our turnkey projects and carry them out from beginning to end. You maintain an excellent relationship with customers, suppliers, consultants, and several internal stakeholders (for example sales, logistics, and production). During the installation stage, the site and the contract manager report project-wise to you. You will join our Projects & Services (Installation) department and report to the manager of this department. You will have off-site work around 40 % – 50 % of your time.We offer an exciting opportunity where you can make an impact as part of the energy transition. Because the cable systems delivered by Prysmian Netherlands are specifically designed for each situation, all projects are technically unique. We will also offer you an induction and training to learn about high-voltage systems and their installation.Responsibilities

  • Quotation and Contract Phase: You actively participate in project quotations, preparing cost estimates and execution plans. You ensure adherence to technical specifications, budget, and timelines during the project. Effective communication keeps all stakeholders informed.
  • Project Execution: You take full responsibility once a purchase order is secured. This involves coordinating production, engineering, purchase orders, change orders, and safety. You maintain control over planning and finances.
  • Project Objectives: Your focus is on achieving project goals—delivery times, billing schedules, margins, and customer satisfaction. You keep both clients and internal teams informed about progress.
  • Balancing Act: As a leader, you harmonize technology, people, and results to achieve optimal operational and financial outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s (HBO) or master’s (WO) degree in a technical subject.
  • Several years of relevant work experience in the field of infrastructure.
  • Proven track record as a Project Manager and experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Risk management expertise: Identifying and assessing project risks.
  • Strong writing skills and contract management experience.
  • Ability to analyze applications/tender documents for technical aspects.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., PRINCE2 or IPMA).
  • Familiarity with Safety Culture Ladder is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (Scandinavian language proficiency is a plus).
  • Willingness to learn about high-voltage systems and installation specifics.
