Join us and let’s build the future.Job Summary:As part of Belden’s Commercial Operations Team we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our team. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects within the EMEA region. You take the lead in coordinating with our Solution Sales team and Solution Consultants on various projects, gathering inputs, managing deliverables, and meeting milestones to ensure that projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline whilst meeting the desired project objectives.Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop a detailed project plan, including project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budget requirements. Identify project stakeholders and establish communication channels.
  • Resource Management: Determine the resources needed for the project, allocate resources efficiently, and consider project requirements and constraints, incl. when to purchase additional/external resources. Monitor resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Management & Resource Allocation: Build and manage a project team in which you assign tasks, set clear objectives, and provide guidance and support to keep the project team motivated.
  • Stakeholder Communication (internal & external: Establish effective and proactive communication channels with project stakeholders, including team members, customers, operations, 3rd party suppliers, and other relevant parties. Provide regular project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.
  • Scope and Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Proactively anticipate and address any issues that may arise during project execution. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project and implement change plans when necessary.
  • Change Management: Evaluate and manage project changes, including scope changes, schedule adjustments, or resource reallocation. Assess the impact of changes on project objectives and communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders.
  • Owning Project Costs & Margins: Develop and manage project budgets and margins, ensuring effective cost control. Monitor project expenses, track financial performance, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Cashflow Management: Ensure that the project remains financially viable and achieves its objectives within the allocated budget.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
  • Project Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress against the established plan, including milestones, deadlines, and deliverables. Generate regular status reports, documenting project accomplishments, risks, and issues.
  • Project Closure: Conduct a comprehensive project evaluation to assess project success and identify lessons learned. Ensure all project deliverables are completed and facilitate a smooth project closure and handover.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of project management experience in managing (complex) turnkey or milestone-based customer projects in an industrial environment
  • Bachelor#s Degree in Engineering with a focus on OT / IT networking in vertical markets like power utilities, mass transit, discrete manufacturing
  • Certified project management professional preferred (e.g. PMP#)
  • Experience of working within a medium to large-sized international organization with a matrix environment
  • Experience in using project management and CRM tools e.g. Salesforce is required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholder expectations within the scope of a project
  • Expertise in turnkey projects involving multiple vendor solutions for industrial applications-#Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • You are fluent in English in words and writing
  • A true team player, respectful of team roles and responsibilities
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to perform the duties of the role (Approx. 20-40% frequency of travel). The focus will be Europe.
