Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.Project ManagerRole Context:Worley in Meerssen (the Netherlands), is currently seeking a Project Manager/ Project Engineer (PM/PE) to work on small to medium size projects in the process industry. The PM/PE oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within specified deadlines and budgets. This role will be responsible for coordinating resources, managing stakeholders, and ensuring project objectives are met.The PM/PE has total responsibility for ensuring that all the obligations of the Agreement/Contract between the customer and Worley are fulfilled.In particular:· Drive and advocate the safety and quality culture· Ensuring a good relationship with the customer· Lead and manage the project team· Delivering results in terms of Service, Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Gross Margin and CashflowYou’ll be:· Lead project execution· Supervise team and facilitate/join customer meetings· Establishes the project framework for delivering engineering and design and provides cross-discipline coordination/supervision by directing project execution activities and discipline deliverable creation for one medium or several smaller projects. Accountable for the safe/sustainable engineering, quality, cost and schedule delivery of all work by the engineering team on the project· Strong understanding of cross-discipline work, interfaces, and sequencing. Well versed in project setup, instituting work processes, monitoring a team, execution, and close-out. Skilled in estimating project costs and writing proposal content. Adept at budgeting and cost control· Assume hands-on management and implementation of all relevant company HSE requirements· Ensure that no work is started without a signed contract or specific Operations Management approval· Prepare a Project Execution Plan which addresses and documents the following key issues: scope, schedule, budget, team organization, safety, quality, risk, communication, invoicing, work process definition, change management and value enhancing objectives· Provide steer and review cost estimate and planning· Control and administer the flow of data and information within Worley and between the customer, Worley and other organizations such as contractors, sub-consultants, government agencies and any local or statutory authorities· Exercise change control in respect of the Agreement/Contract ensuring customer approval (when applicable) before additional expenditure of time and / or costs. Authorize internal changes when necessary for achievement of project objectives· Ensure that all Worley contractual and legal obligations are met, to the satisfaction of the customer· Organize project review meetings at regular intervals to review actual progress, cost to complete, identify problem areas and agree remedial actions and keep Worley management informed· Support sales / marketing by providing information, input to proposals and assistance with presentations as required· Organize and manage the assigned project team to complete the project successfully ensuring that all project team members are fully conversant with the project objectives· Where relevant, visit the job site at regular intervals to review at first hand safety, actual progress, any potential problems and the proposed solutions to any potential problemsQualificationsYou’ll have:· Experience in work cooperation with remote offices (work sharing concept)· Team player· Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint· Good communication skills· Dutch language is a pre· Education: Bachelor or Master’s Degree preferably with an engineering degree·
7 years relevant experience, ideally in managing small to medium size projects in an engineering environment· Driving license· English language, both written and verbally· Located in the area of Meerssen (
