We are looking for our new Project Logistics – Customer Excellence Specialist based in our Aberdeen’s office !
Your Role
The main role is to achieve the highest customer service quality and profitability goals through the management of the supporting workstreams within the team.
Your Responsibilities
Arrange and supervise the transport of cargo
Monitor the operational performance of all involved parties and report any issues that may occur
Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times, Review and ensure that any KPIs agreed with the customer are met
Manage GP planning and execute the business in line with rates given by ensuring profit maximization
Ensure all systems are kept up to date promptly and Maintain an accurate level of data quality
Pro-active engagement with other teams (hubs, chartering, engineering, BU, etc.) to ensure a smooth transition
Review daily operational reports and action all required activities
Safety first mindset and report all Unsafe Acts/Conditions and incidents
Participate in trainings to develop yourself and your knowledge
Your Skills and Experiences
You have a successful proven experience in the freight forwarding industry, ideally around road transportation
You have advanced knowledge on industry specific guidelines and adherence to regulatory requirements is welcome
You know how to use the Microsoft Office Suite
You know how to foster a can-do spirit to build a solution-orientated team
You have good communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders
You possess good planning and organization skills, you are able to multitask and a self-starter
You are a problem-solver and can work under pressure
