FunctionElia has a key role in the realisation of the energy transition. Decarbonisation, decentralization, internationalisation & digitalisation are forcing us to change faster than ever before. The ways of working in Assets department will have to undergo a transformation.In your role as Project Leader, you will be responsible for the realisation of this transformation with a strong focus on the operationalisation of digitalisation & innovation projects in Assets.Specifically, this function encompasses the following tasks:

• Responsible for the business requirements, planning and budget of your project(s).
• Leading project teams so that they work together as a cohesive team, are competent and motivated in order to achieve the project objectives as planned.
• Ensuring the change management aspects (communication plan, impact analysis, training, coordination with the other projects that are interdependent).
• Preparing and animating SteerCos.
• Responsible for good communication and adequate reporting of projects in order to ensure that all stakeholders have the information they need to fulfil their mission within the project.
• Building strong business case to support the decisions if needed.

Requirements for the function

• You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in project management.
• You are able to deal with complex and rapid changing environment.
• You have very good communication skills.
• You are good at stakeholder management including external partners, the unions, business departments (assets but not only), IT & Group Innovation.
• Experience in the energy sector or an “Operations & Maintenance” organization is definitely an asset.
• You have affinity with digitalization, business analysis, change management & IT.
• Experience with Scrum Agile, Prince2 or PMP methodology is definitely an asset.
• You have a good knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
• You are autonomous, flexible, positive, passionate and pro-active.
• You can manage and motivate a project team.
• You can organize and plan well (including organizing decision-making processes).
