Wood is recruiting for a Project Development Coordinator to join its Energy Assets & Development team focusing on solar, wind and storage projects. This is an opportunity to join one of the Italian most established renewable energy Project Development teams and help develop renewable energy assets. The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.

The Role
The Project Development Assistant will support the Project Development team across the full development lifecycle of utility-scale grid connected solar, wind projects, and battery storage from greenfield prospecting to construction-ready status. The candidate will engage both with external stakeholders (e.g. law firms, notaries, landowners, public entities, accountants, virtual data room platforms providers, etc.) and internal stakeholders (e.g. legal, finance, subcontract and supplier departments, etc.).

Typical responsibilities:
- Preparing purchase and service orders related to Special Purposes Vehicles (SPVs) connected with the business
- Following the onboarding process of vendors/suppliers
- Managing relationships with notaries for land contracts drafting, notarial declarations, and cadastral land inspections
- Managing relationships with stakeholders involved with the development process (public entities, grid operator, internal departments, subcontractors, law firms)
- Preparing administrative documents for permit applications
- Management of SPVs (maintenance of Paper and Digital Corporate Books, relationship with accountants for Chamber of Commerce Procedures)
- Management of the Virtual Data Room with external consultants for the sale of SPV companies
- Interface between Energy Asset Development (EAD) department and administration and taxes departments
- Maintain and update databases with information on potential developments opportunities, stakeholders, project details, contracts and land contracts

Expected
- Background in economic, administrative or legal studies
- Flexible, resourceful and able to work productively on multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal Italian and English language (other languages are considered as a plus)
- Ability to work both as a team and independently
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Desirable
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Understanding of key legal documents, such as land option agreements, company book, and corporate meeting minutes
