We are seeking a motivated and organized Project Coordinator to join our team on a temporary basis to support the Neo Sunset initiative. The project involves guiding existing SAP BTP Neo clients through their transition to alternative SAP-offered Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions. The successful candidate will play a role in ensuring a smooth migration experience for our clients while coordinating internal and external stakeholders. This is not a traditional PM role expect to spend significant time in technical reviews, understanding Neo specific services (e.g., Java/HTML5 runtime configurations, SAP HANA and ASE db details), and translating infrastructure constraints into actionable migration roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Support & Communication: Serve as a point of contact for existing SAP BTP Neo clients, providing clear guidance and support throughout their transition journey
* Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with technical teams, client success managers, and SAP representatives to ensure alignment and timely delivery
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues; develop mitigation strategies and escalate concerns as appropriate Identify migration blockers related to Neo services and coordinate remediation with engineering.
* Progress Tracking & Reporting: Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to leadership and stakeholders
* Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including migration guides, meeting notes, and decision logs Maintain migration runbooks, API mapping, and service equivalency documentation.
* Resource Coordination: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate resources are allocated to support project activities – Coordinate across infrastructure, DevOps, security, and application teams
* Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
Build solid understanding of Neo platform, migration tooling and processes.
You will be embedded with engineering teams, deep diving in technical documentation, and facilitating decision making around runtime environments, database migrations, and integration layer refactoring.
Required Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
* Experience: 2–5 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT or software-related project
* Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver projects on time and within scope
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
* Tools Proficiency: Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana, or similar)
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
Preferred Qualifications
* SAP Ecosystem Knowledge: Understanding of SAP products, services, and cloud offerings is a major advantage
* Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) or other SAP PaaS solutions
* Experience supporting client migrations or platform transitions
* Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications) is a plus
* Previous experience in a client-facing or consulting role
* Experience with BTP and especially BTP Neo platform and products is a big plus.
Optional:
* Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Neo.
* Familiarity with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry or Kyma runtime environments.
* Understanding of SAP Integration Suite, SAP Build, or SAP Extension Suite.
* Scripting ability (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation tasks.
* Experience participating in post mortem or incident review processes.
