Overview

Description

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join CommsHub, a new strategic communications regranter within the Meliore Foundation. CommsHub seeks to upskill the global climate movement’s strategic communications capacity to build the political will necessary for bold climate action.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will provide critical support to the establishment and ramp-up of this exciting new programme.  Responsibilities will span diverse workstreams, including organisational development, governance, strategy, and fundraising/funder engagement.
In this position, you will be part of a small but dedicated team committed to building an effective and results-oriented programme that will help move the needle on climate change.  You will work closely with the Senior Project Manager and Build Director, supporting their work and acting as the connective tissue of this team.
We are looking for someone with skills and passion for effective operations, stakeholder communication, project monitoring, and creative problem solving – and who wants to put that to use in the fight against climate change.
If this sounds like you, we’d love for you to apply.

How you’ll contribute

  • Support team logistics, including scheduling, event planning, note taking, and travel coordination.

Our ideal candidate has

  • Proven ability to coordinate complex stakeholder relationships where competing agendas and priorities exist.
  • Experience delivering communication and engagement as they apply to successful project coordination.
  • The desire to bring ideas to the table and engage in continuous improvement.
  • High level organisational skills with good attention to detail and ability to think laterally and conceptually.

  • The disposition to work generously with colleagues in an international, multicultural community of peers, and the ability to work across international norms and values.
  • Strong collaboration skills and an ability to build trust with colleagues.
