The position

As our new Project Controller, you will be responsible for several important projects in the API Business Support portfolio. The project portfolio contains infrastructure projects located in Kalundborg. Your main responsibility will be controlling the investment budget including:

-Making budgets and creating transparency in the uncertainty level
-Creating monthly financial reporting for the management group
-Building a broad network within the projects and strong relationships with the Project Managers
-Manage booking accruals and reclasses to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
-Developing, creating, and monitoring relevant follow-up tools enabling key insights into the financial status of the project portfolio
 

Qualifications

We imagine that a successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

-An academic degree in a relevant field such as business administration, engineering, supply chain management, or a similar discipline
-Some years of relevant experience and a robust foundation in finance (ideally complimented by experience within CAPEX projects)
-A solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, allowing you to effectively understand project activities
-Demonstrate adept stakeholder management and communication skills
-Fluency in English, as well as strong skills in Power Point and Excel

You are a Team player with an international mindset and enjoy being part of a global work environment. It is crucial to have the ability to communicate complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner and to proactively manage numerous and changing priorities effectively. You can work independently as well as in a team environment. Most importantly, you are flexible, and eager to take up new tasks and projects.

About the department

API Finance and Procurement supports our API production facilities with financial analysis and business insights. We transform market and manufacturing data into strategies, informing managerial judgments with our findings. We contribute to a range of optimisation projects and provide many insights that shape the way we will do things in the future. Our data sources are varied, and the models we employ have been part of the Novo Nordisk success – making us ready for the latest Novo Nordisk product is part of our mission, ensuring that we work in the best way possible, when it comes to efficiency, yield, and agility.
