As a Project Controller, you will play a crucial role in the project cost control function within the Project Management Office. You will work closely with your stakeholders, i.e., Project Portfolio Managers and Project Managers, to ensure that projects are delivered within budget and that cost control processes and procedures are followed throughout the project lifecycle.Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Be responsible for month-end closing, budget & perform various financial analyses.
  • Contribute significantly to the development and maintenance of project cost control systems, procedures, and tools.
  • Contribute to the development of project management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate Resource Management activities, including monitoring against estimated budgets and collaborating with other PMO disciplines to achieve key milestones.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date project cost reports and data, oversee the development of project budgets and cost estimates, and provide guidance and support to the PMO on cost control issues.

Qualifications
To be succeed in this role you have:

  • A Master’s Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or another relevant area.
  • At least 3+ years of practical cost-controlling experience.
  • Proficiency in project management software, tools and methodologies coupled with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint Excel, and PowerBI.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to work with and visualize data and numbers in a transparent way.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate to a broad audience at all levels, and ability to deliver high-quality presentation material.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
