Project AccountantJoin a dynamic finance team on a mission to deliver outstanding results across a range of project accounting workstreams – from project set-up and performance reviews to working capital optimisation and change management.You will join a diverse team of 8 finance professionals and report to our Project Accounting Manager. In the immediate run, we would like you to support the team with:

  • project set-up – you will leverage your exceptional attention to detail in ensuring that all relevant details, such as budgets, are recorded correctly and in a timely manner
  • periodic project reviews – as a master stakeholder manager you will engage with the delivery teams to monitor the financial health of projects by assessing progress against milestones and budgets, identifying early warning signs and resolving challenges swiftly with the help of ERM colleagues as well as external counterparts
  • detailed analysis of profitability metrics (project costs v budgets, etc)
  • periodic management of variances
  • client invoicing and support with collections and related queries
  • support the local team and Group with the annual audit

As you develop your skills, learn our business, and establish solid (internal and external) working relationships we will also expect you to:

  • drive the efforts to optimise our working capital position by engaging with the business at the proposal stage, exploring opportunities to streamline billing and collections workflows, development of tools and trackers, and other initiatives
  • continously review and explore opportunities to streamline our processes (for instance, we strive to automate manual processes so that our team can spend their time on truly value-adding tasks)
  • contribute to the annual audit proces as well as ad-hoc projects (for instance, implementation of new financial management tools, etc)
