Plan International UK is a global children’s charity striving for an equal world. One where every child can reach their full potential and every girl can choose her own future.

We bring people together to protect children’s rights and keep girls safe, in school and in control of their bodies – even when disaster strikes. And we won’t stop until we are all equal.

We are looking for an Education in Emergencies Programme Specialist to develop, grow and oversee a portfolio of humanitarian and resilience projects in collaboration with colleagues globally in the areas of implementation. The role will work across grant management, programme development, and stakeholder management both internally and externally, and will contribute to the growth and quality of the Education in Emergencies (EiE) project portfolio by providing EiE technical support.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in humanitarian responses and high-risk environments.
  • Expertise in securing/managing institutional donor-funded projects (e.g., FCDO, UN).
  • Knowledge of Education in Emergency standards and gender-responsive programming.
  • Strong organisational, financial management, and representational skills.
  • Working with partners and/or in consortia is a key part of the role and your influencing and negotiating skills will therefore play a large part in helping build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with our internal and external stakeholders.
