Are you highly organised with experience of grant management or similar processes? Do you have excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with a range of diverse stakeholders? Do you have excellent attention to detail with the confidence to review financial and contract information for quality and compliance?

Elrha works in partnership with a global community of humanitarian actors, researchers and innovators to improve the quality of humanitarian action and deliver better outcomes for people affected by crises. We are looking to recruit two new Programme Officers to join our humanitarian innovation team.

The role will provide you with the opportunity to liaise directly with our global innovation grantees to support them with efficient and professional coordination and help ensure operational delivery of the programme and innovation management activities stay on track.

Your application will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience of coordinating grant funding processes (a portfolio of projects, grants or similar)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of people and organisations and communicate complex or sensitive information
  • Ability to understand and interpret progress reports, including financial expenditure
  • Ability to use spreadsheets to format, analyse and present data effectively, with a high degree of general computer literacy and the ability to learn new software
  • A resourceful, proactive approach with the ability to work in a constantly changing environment.
