The Programme aims to ensure UNOPS delivers the highest quality projects – sustainably, on time, and within budget – for partners and beneficiaries.The Programme is expected to last until the end of 2027. It will enhance UNOPS’ operational efficiency, effectiveness, and agility, overhauling processes and leveraging digital technologies and solutions. It will improve UNOPS’ collection and use of data, capacity for foresight, capacity for planning, knowledge management, and reporting.Role of the Programme Management – Senior OfficerWe are currently looking for a candidate to support the PID Programme in the role of Programme Management – Senior Officer. This role is focused on ensuring a smooth flow of communication across teams, supporting effective stakeholder engagement and coordinating the planning and delivery of change management activities at both the Programme level and in support of individual PID projects.This position requires an understanding of change management methodologies and a proven ability to navigate complex organisational landscapes. Programme-level coordination supportMonitor and support assessment and analysis of Programme performance against strategic key deliverables and indicators;Support the PID management team in managing Programme risks and issues;Support the coordination of PID events, workshops and sessions, including corresponding with participants and providing on-site support during workshops and events;Support in the preparation of briefing materials, meetings and missions, coordination of such requests, minute-taking and ensuring relevant follow-up actions;Support planning, implementation and roll-out of key change management activities;Follow up on stakeholder engagement, addressing action points, coordinating inputs, ensuring smooth communication flow;Coordinate the development of internal change management and communications guidelines and support materials, monitor usage and follow up with project teams to ensure uptake.
2. Support PID project teams with planning and delivery of project and change management activitiesContribute to the planning of projects, with particular attention to the planning of stakeholder engagement, change impact and readiness activities, as well as their smooth implementation by actively engaging and supporting project teams;Contribute to the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement plans, communication plans, communication materials, learning schedules and training programs in collaboration with PID project teams and the Senior Change and Communications Manager;Support planning and delivery of internal workshops and training, as well as internal communications efforts and platforms;Coordinate planning and delivery of post-go-live change management activities to ensure new processes and systems are being adopted and benefits realized.
