Overview:Program Coordinator, IE ImpactIE University (IEU) is a private university with campuses located in Segovia and Madrid.IE IMPACT is IE University’s undergraduate core studies learning journey, totaling 21 ECTS, and required of all IEU students. IE University’s four core courses consist of one in the Humanities, one in Technology, the Entrepreneurial Mindset & Practice course and the IE Challenge course. The IE Impact Learning Journey aims to equip students with the knowledge, mindsets and skills needed to be innovative problem-solvers who lead positive change. The entire learning journey centers the value of diversity and a commitment to sustainability (within the broad understanding of the SDGs). The IE Impact program is IE University’s largest academic feat thanks to its scale, transversal composition and mission. The IE Impact team is responsible for its successful operational execution.The Program Coordinator is a great opportunity for current IEU staff who are assistants and seek a promotion (with the support of their current supervisors). We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid. Responsibilities:Your role as a Program Coordinator will involve:
The program coordinator role is highly administrative and requires a lot of time seated at a computer responding to student and faculty email inquiries and occasional in-person drop-ins, which makes up approximately 85-90% of the work.The program coordinator role is also asked to balance administrative tasks with creative work, contributing to “beyond-the-classroom” activities for students that serve to reinforce IE Impact learning objectives, as well as contributing to the organization of training activities for faculty.The program coordinator role engages with many different and transversal stakeholders across the entire university (staff, students, faculty, guests) and such interactions require professionalism, intercultural skills, maturity and empathy.Reporting:The Program Coordinator role reports ultimately to the IE Impact Executive Director. For daily operations, the program coordinator works under the supervision and with the support of the IE Impact Academic Associate Director. The Program Coordinator also works in close coordination with and to support the IE Impact Academic Directors (each IE Impact course is led by at least one Academic Director and/or Academic Coordinators).
