Summary You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Readiness and Exercises (N7) division of COMUSNAVEUR-COMSIXTHFLEET SEA. Responsibilities You will serve as the principal advisor on training and readiness issues related to FDNF-E units, including ship pre-deployment and sustainment training, deployment certifications, policy review and development, and training capability development. You will analyze, collate, and maintain information on training and readiness requirements. You will assist exercise planners to develop exercises and other venues to achieve fleet training and certification requirements. You will develop internal instructions, policy, and management guidance for implementation and compliance. You will develop fleet training capabilities and manage the CNE/CNA-C6F training and certification program. You will develop Flag level briefs, point papers, staff action plans, reports, spreadsheets, databases, messages, etc. as required. You will provide a wide range of substantive oral and written presentations and reports to senior officials. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting and applying policy, regulations and instructions to refine fleet training strategies; 2) Assessing training readiness requirements and processes; and 3) Developing infrastructure, resource and training solutions to resolve operational gaps and shortfalls.
