Offer DescriptionThe competition for the position of Professor, in the group of didactic employees at the Department of Vocal Arts of the Voice and Drama Faculty at Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Cracow.RequirementsResearch Field Arts » Other Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/QualificationsThe competition may be entered by candidates who:

• meet the requirements stipulated in Art. 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018, the Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742, with subsequent amendments), and in the Statute of Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Cracow;
• hold the title of professor of art in vocal studies;
• have outstanding vocal artistic achievements of international scope;
• have teaching experience at universities in the field of vocal studies.

Specific RequirementsCandidates who wish to enter the competition are hereby requested to submit the following documentation:1. Written submission of an entry to the competition.2. Personal questionnaire.*3. Certified decision on awarding the title of professor.**4. Candidate’s written statement to the effect that when qualified for employment through this competition, Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music shall be his or her primary place of work as defined by the Law.5. Written declaration of the candidate’s willingness to attribute their artistic output to Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków for the purpose of evaluation in the artistic discipline of musical arts.6. Candidates written statement pursuant to Art. 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science.*7. Information on the candidate’s hitherto created artistic, scientific and didactic oeuvre in the form of a list enumerating their most significant achievements.8. List of repertoire proposed for presentation in the competition procedure.9. Personal data processing agreement.*

**In the event that a candidate submits documentation relating to any degrees and titles awarded in a foreign country, they are required to obtain a sworn translation by a certified translator.Additional InformationSelection processThe competition procedure shall consist of the following stages:1. Performance of pieces with varied performance styles, selected by the Committee from at least four pieces proposed by the Candidate. Expected total time frame of the artistic presentation: approximately 15 minutes. Performance from memory is preferable.Candidates are requested to enclose the repertoire listing proposed compositions. Selection of pieces and total duration of the presentation shall remain at the discretion of the committee.2. Conducting a demonstration lesson in an expected time frame of approximately 25 minutes. The committee may shorten the duration of the demonstration lesson.3.
