Offer DescriptionThe competition is open to persons who meet the requirements specified in art. 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742, as amended) and meet the following qualification criteria:
1) having the title of professor in the field of medical sciences and health sciences,
2) having the right to practice as a physician,
3) having the knowledge and skills to conduct classes in subjects including histology, embryology, confirmed by having at least three scientific publications in this field, published in journals or scientific publications, domestic and foreign indexed in scientific databases,

Scope of duties:
– implementation of full-time teaching classes (240 hours) at full-time studies,
– own professional development, participation in conducting scientific activities,

1) job application,
2) declaration on the processing of personal data (Annex 1),
3) personal questionnaire for the person applying for employment (Annex 2),

5) copies (photocopies) of diplomas confirming education (originals for inspection before signing the contract),
6) documents confirming professional experience,
7) declaration on meeting the requirements of art. 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science (Annex 3),
8) copies of certificates, additional certificates.Selection processDocuments should be submitted: – in person or sent to the address of the University: Academy of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz, ul. Staszica 1, 33-300 Nowy Sącz, General Secretariat, room 01. The envelope should be marked with the following note: “Konkurs nr 4 na stanowisko profesora na WLZ” – or sent to the e-mail address with the following in the title: “Konkurs nr 4 na stanowisko profesora na WLZ”The deadline for submitting documents is 18.09.2024 (the date of receipt of the documents at the University’s headquarters is decisive). The competition will be decided by 23.09.2024. Information about its result, together with the justification, will be made available in the Public Information Bulletin of the University and on the website of the Minister of Science and Higher Education.Additional commentsThe competition committee reserves the right to conduct an interview with candidates who meet the required qualification criteria. Applications that do not meet the formal requirements and those submitted after the deadline will not be considered. We reserve the right not to conclude an employment contract with the person who won the competition in the event of a lack of expected recruitment or failure to launch education in the medical field from the academic year 2024/2025. We reserve the right to cancel the competition process without giving a reason. The result of the competition is not equivalent to employment of the candidate, but is a recommendation in this regard for the Rector. The final decision on employment is made by the Rector.
