Our new Dalton Building for Science and Engineering offers a state-of-the-art environment that supports pioneering innovations, techniques and research. We are particularly interested in applications for which our investment and strong partnerships drives our ambition to be world leaders in Biomedical & Health Sciences research.You would join us in advancing ground-breaking research in Biomedical & Health Sciences and play a key part in a team that paves the way for innovative treatments to improve lives. We’re leading research into musculoskeletal sciences, vascular biology and neuroscience as well as cross-disciplinary research in diabetes, neuromotor diseases, cancer, respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Our new Wolfson ACTIVE Laboratory provides sophisticated systems for monitoring human movements alongside advanced medical imaging, including X-ray and 3T MRI with 13C and 31P spectroscopy. With recent investments in genomics, microscopy, complex cell models and proteomics, these facilities underpin our cell-to-society approach towards research.You will have the freedom to tailor your development and build your academic reputation. Alongside expanding on your own vision and expertise, you will play a key role in mentoring others, promoting a cooperative, intellectually curious research culture and, as a member of the leadership community, supporting our long-term research strategy to enrich students’ lives while having a positive effect on our world.
