• Knowledge of English to the extent that it is possible to conduct classes in this language.
• The title of professor of the humanities in the discipline of ethnology/cultural and religious sciences or of the social sciences in sociology.
• Teaching experience in a higher education institution, including in English.
• Experience in conducting qualitative research.
• Scientific international experience documented by, among other things, active participation in scientific conferences, stay in scientific internships or work in international consortia.
• Scientific achievements documented by, among other things, scientific publications in internationally recognized journals or publishing houses.
• Experience in leading research grants.
• Territorial area and thematic scope of past and/or planned research beyond the Polish context as an important asset, but not an absolute requirement.

Responsibilities * Conducting scientific research and disseminating its results, among others, in the form of papers, lectures, publications in high-scoring journals and publishing houses, including in international contexts.

• Submitting grant proposals to attract external funding for research activities.
• Fulfilling the teaching salary.
• Fulfilling other, including organisational duties as indicated by the Director of the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology (IEiAK).
